A new mobile medical van was inaugurated by Most
Rev Swami Prabhanandaji Maharaj, Vice President Ramakrishna Mission,
Belur, on August 9, 2015 at VSSS Working Centre at Salt Lake, Kolkata.
The project is an Intersectoral Project of Sushila Birla Memorial Institute and Vivekananda Swasthya Seva Sangha. The Mobile Health Care Unit (MHCU) shall travel into interior rural villages where medical facilities are not available. The MHCU van reaches out to the rural folks with doctors, attendants and medical instruments.
